Today I'm thinking about childhood memories of Bill, Katie and I. I remember the time we were playing at the creek and found a baseball mitt. We decided it would be a good idea to throw the mitt into the creek (although the name of its owner was clearly written on the mitt) - as opposed to finding its owner and returning it. I remember the "family meeting" to follow with mom, dad and the other family when it was found out what we had done - funny kid stuff. I also remember my brother letting me tag along for a walk to "Sherman's" drug store. He had saved up some money and we headed up there so he could buy something special. We came home with "Earth, Wind and Fire's Best Of" album. He was so cool.... and the album has always been truly special to me.
